Excel Medical, in partnership with IBM’s® TJ Watson Laboratories, has recently developed Streaming Analytics™, a first-of-a-kind technology for capturing and analyzing volumes of unstructured streaming physiological data. The goal is to transform big data into actionable intelligence to detect critical events before they happen, creating better patient outcomes and lowering costs of treatment.
With leading academic medical centers and children’s hospitals across the country deploying the Streaming Analytics platform, Excel has formed a community of leading data scientists, clinicians and researchers who are changing the way critical care and medical-surgical medicine is practiced. Excel’s pioneering annual Streaming Analytics Users Group brings these academics, clinicians and industry experts together to advance the study of analytics and form the foundation of predictive care for critically ill patients.
